And the PPGS feedback just keeps rolling on in…
Here’s one from someone who, after using just a FEW of my golf swing secrets he shocked his buddy (who had been playing longer than him) with how straight he was hitting the ball:
Don,
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I have been playing for 2 years and was looking to improve my game. I was learning and playing with my buddies. All of them have been playing longer than I have.
One day after leaving the driving range pissed I decided to take lessons.
I saw your ad about 10 online lessons and decided, what the heck. After the first three I was hitting the ball much more straighter and making great contact.
After receiving all the lessons I went back to the driving range.
As I began to loosen up I had to stop thinking about the last time I was here.
Once I began to hit the ball I was totally amazed at how straight and how far I was hitting the ball. The following week after more practice I played nine and did a good job of staying in the fairway.
My buddy was amazed at how straight I was hitting the ball.
However, I could still use some practice so I ordered your DVD set.
I can’t wait until I play again.
Forecast is calling for rain the next 4 days so it will be next week sometime.
Until then I have plenty of time to study your DVD.
Thank you for PPGS!
Because of it I did not give up on the great game of golf.

DON TRAHAN: Great story Eric, it just flat out feels good when other golfers who have played longer you, see you use the PPGS and wonder what your “secret” is.
And as good as your doing now, just wait until you get the videos.
That’s where we separate the men from the boys around here. So definitely keep me updated on your progress.
That’s all for today, got some exciting news coming down the pike.
So stay tuned.
In the meantime, you can grab your PPGS videos at:

Tell me what you're thinking... and what part of the golf swing, or this great game... you'd like to know more about. If you want your pic to show with your comment, go get a

Don: I am 80 years young. Left handed. I usually shoot in the middle eighties. I have a three and five (hybrid’s) I have trouble hiting these. Have a hard time with the height. I purchased your dvd’s. Need a few pointers please.

Like many other golfers of my age (70) I have been looking a long time for the “Holy Grail” of golf swings, and like many of my fellow golfers, I have spent my fair share of cash, on things that havn’t worked out. So I hope you can forgive me if I sound a little synical when I say, I can not understand that something that requires only two buckets of balls to master, takes three D.V.Ds to explain. However as I am forever the eternal optomist I shall keep hoping and maybe this may turn out to be THE one.
i would like a pictorial view both down the line and side view of yours or dj swing that i can study and relate –will be glad to pay for thisas i realize you have nothing to sell except your knowledge and swing. thanks, terry
OK Surge.
I’m sold, and I’m 1,000 % with you on everything and I’m smart enough to know to not even think about deviating one iota or listening to somebody else. But that’s just the thing – if other teachers do not subscribe to your ways, then I am restricted to just your videos, and great as they may be, I know there is no substitute for another set of objective eyes watching me in real time. But hey, if you fly up to me I WILL buy you lunch!. But really, do I just stick with the videos and forgo a live teacher or what should I do.
Please and thanx
~Alex
Don,
In the manual, page 48, there is reference made to chapter 13. I did only receive chapters 1 to 11 when I downloaded the manual. How do I get the missing chapters (and how many are there)??
Bent
I have had the DVDs for one month now and see some positive things happening. One problem, however, is that I occasionaly pop a ball up off the Tee. Rarely ever did that before. Any suggestions?
Mr. Surge,
I just purchased the DVDs online. I cannot find the DVD which discusses “PRE LOADED RIGHT”. Please let me know where I can locate this lesson. Thanks. Brad.
A couple of months ago you posted your swing on the internet going through various clubs in the bag. I really enjoyed watching this ,which, for me, with the DVD’s I already have, represented the icing on the cake. Alas, I seem to have lost sight of these priceless pics. Any chance of e-mailing them to me? I promise this time I will download them. Let me know if there is a cost involved.
Many thanks.

I don’t suppose there’s any chance of getting hold of those golfswing clips of you hitting shots from PW-Driver you so generously posted a couple of months ago. I was remiss in not downloading them and I just can’t seem to be able to find them anywhere. If you are able to, let me know of any cost involved.
Many thanks.

Many thanks for your prompt answer and accompanying video clips. I am 62 yrs of age and have been playing this frustrating game on and off for 45 years. Playing regularly I once got down to 8 handicap but oh boy! Was I forever experimenting and overanalysing. With the advent of the internet I really lost myself in the golfswing maze. Tried this swing, bought a few DVDs, had lessons etc etc. You’ve heard it all before. But this is different.
Once I was able to get my head round vertical as opposed to rotational (lets face it, 45 yrs of rotational isn’t something you can just jettison overnight) I just knew that the PPGS is, as far as I’m concerned, the golfing equivalent of the Holy Grail.
Thanks to the PPGS website the Gospel according to DTrahan is being spread worldwide. Why no PGA instructor in the UK hasn’t climbed down off their lofty perch, really really looked at themselves in the mirror and worked out why the majority of golfers never improve.never fails to astound me. Think about it fellas. It all makes sense. More angles in the golfswing=mucho complicado.
There must be at least one amongst the 100’s of golf teachers over here who, surely ,can see the logic of this whole thing and stick his/her head above the turret and go for it. I dare you. Be Don Trahan’s disciple on our shores, start spreading the word.
In the meanwhile, this humble hacker will forge his own path and apply himself most diligently and confidently in the knowledge that the search is over.
I always seem to be searching for connecting arms and body rotation. Robert Allenby has one of my favorite swings in golf cause it appears he hits the ball with a full “body” rotation and very little arm action.
also trying to get clarity on shaft angle at address…vertical or forward of center? thanks
